In the main event of UFC 282, Jan Bachowicz and Magomed Ankalaev battled to a disappointing draw. The two were initially supposed to fight in a three-round co-main event, but after Glover Teixeira and Jiri Prochazka’s fight was called off, the two were moved up to a five-round title battle. For the first three rounds, Bachowicz would fight shrewdly, severely harming Ankalaev’s legs. He would, however, lose in rounds four and five, resulting in a tie.

Bachowicz was first disappointed and felt unworthy, but he has since adjusted his perspective and is setting his sights on one last title run in his illustrious career. But first, he must defeat the legendary kickboxer Pereira, and he plans to use his lethal strikes and wrestling.
Alex Pereira recently suffered a devastating knockout loss to Israel Adesanya. At UFC 287, Adesanya finally got the better of Pereira after losing to him three times in kickboxing and once in MMA. He KO’d Pereira in the second round to reclaim his lost belt. Now it’s “Poatans” turn to demonstrate how he bounces back from a setback. In order to fight Bachowicz, one of the division’s most threatening veterans, he will switch to the light-heavyweight class. He’ll be trying to win the division title to exact revenge on his coach, Texeira, who defeated Jamahal Hill, the current champion. He will make use of his excellent striking skills to mark his victory.
