Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenko Press Conference Time

The road to undisputed has come down to this matchup between two of boxing’s finest technicians. The 23-year old Haney, with 15 knockouts on his record, will be putting his WBC, WBA, IBF and WBO lightweight belts on the line against the vastly experienced Lomachenko, a two-time Olympic gold medalist with deceptive power.

At the press conference, scheduled for 3pm ET on Wednesday May 18 or Thursday May 19, Haney and Lomachenko will field questions from the media, further build the hype around this title fight, and come face to face for the first time since negotiations for the bout began.

So far, the buildup has been respectful and cordial between the two fighters, with Haney praising Lomachenko’s skills and pedigree while Vasya acknowledging Haney’s toughness and will to win.

Fans hoping for some fireworks should also tune in for the traditional stare down at the end of the presser where fighters literally come eye to eye before facing off on fight night.

Despite their differences in style and experience, both Haney and Lomachenko have expressed confidence in their chances of winning convincingly on Saturday night – a victory that would send the winner into superstar status.

Regardless of what transpires at this final press conference, one thing is for certain – boxing fans are in for a treat when two of the sports greats enter the ring this weekend for what should be a competitive and tactical war for the undisputed lightweight championship of the world.
