Once an invincible lightweight with 12-fight win-streak, Tony Ferguson is way past his prime. In his last five losses, Ferguson has been stopped thrice. However, he can find his way back to the win column at UFC 291.
Lightweight prospect Bobby Green’s UFC career is also on a downhill at the time. His last fight was a No-Contest and prior to that, ‘King’ Green had suffered two losses back-to-back. He is 2-4-1 in his last seven.
Holding a professional resume of 29-14-1, Bobby Green might be far from the world title picture. However, he is a submission expert who can also exchange fierce shots. With Tony Ferguson losing all of his last five, Bobby Green can impose a serious threat on him.
Several fighters have departed the UFC after suffering consecutive defeats. Former welterweight champion Tyron Woodley left the promotion after four straight losses. However, Tony Ferguson is still there and is relevant in the main card.
Dana White announced the UFC 291 Fight Card a few hours back, sending the entire combat world into a frenzy. The rematch between Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje will headline the night as the BMF belt will be at stake.
