After skipper KL Rahul being ruled out of the rest of the tournament with a hamstring injury, Krunal Pandya too struggled today and was spotted hobbling in the game. Another fresh injury concerns could have been massive for the Lucknow outfits who are eyeing to reach the IPL playoffs.
The incident took place in the 9th over of the second innings. An early pitched ball from Krunal Pandya saw Ishan Kishan go for the sweep shot. Two LSG fielders Swapnil Singh and Ravi Bishnoi then started to aggressively charge towards the ball in their desperate bid to prevent a four.

But, however be their intentions, the duo racing towards each other from deep mid wicket and deep square had a huge collision. And in that mix, the ball bounced off the fielders to go beyond the ropes. Initially it looked like a major injury when physios rushed to the field. Both the fielders were spotted clutching their necks. In what could have been a potential nasty crash, the blow was ultimately cushioned off.
