Manchester United transfer: Man United coach Erik Ten Hag has his eyes on some high-profile players before the start of next season. There is a chance that they will be playing in the Champions League next season. In light of that, coach Ten Hag has targeted some important players. One of them is Napoli centre-back Kim Min-jae. Napoli’s key player for this season’s Serie A title win has been their centre-back Kim Min-jae. Min-jae arrived at Napoli from Fenerbahce for a mere £15 million fee. However, since then his talent has attracted many clubs. As a result, Napoli have put a huge release clause on the player which is rumoured to be between £43-£52 million. As per reports, Manchester United have offered Napoli a massive amount to bring in the player.

Reportedly, Kim Min-jae has agreed to everything and only some final details need sorting now for the deal to be finalised. Napoli won the Serie A title this year after 33 years of waiting. Min-jae was a key part of the team that won the title. He’s played 43 times for Napoli throughout all competitions this season. He’s scored twice and helped the team keep 15 clean sheets. His inclusion into Man United’s team will impact Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof’s future.

Manchester United have had a comparatively good season. However, near the end of the season, they have been plagued with one injury after another. They have repeatedly lost their key players and have had to manage. This has led to several games where they won a match by a narrow margin. However, they have still persevered and they could be heading back to the Champions League next season. They are in the 4th position in the league table with 1 point separating them from 5th-placed Liverpool.

Although, they have played one less game than Liverpool. Man United still have three very important matches to go against Bournemouth, Chelsea, and Fulham. They will need to win all these matches in order to confirm their place in the top 4 spots. However, they are still missing Marcus Rashford, Donny van de Beek, Lisandro Martinez, and Marcel Sabitzer. These players have all been ruled out for the rest of the season. This does not touch the tip of the iceberg that is their injured players list throughout the season.

The key players in their defense this season have been Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro, and Lisandro Martnez. All three players have missed several games either because of suspension or injuries. Coach Ten Hag had to call up Luke Shaw to fill up the spaces. However, now with Kim Min-Jae’s arrival, coach Ten Hag will be quite happy. Man United are also eyeing Min-jae’s teammate Victor Osimhen. However, Osimhen’s price is sure to reach over £100 million which could be more than Man United’s budget.
