With this 5-wicket haul, Bhuvneshwar becomes the third bowler to have two 5-wicket hauls and joins James Faulkner and Jaydev Unadkat in the elite list.
Bhuvi was the first Sunrisers Hyderabad bowler to claim a fifer back in 2017 against Punjab. Apart from Kumar, only Umran Malik has taken five wickets in a match, an achievement he unlocked last year.

Bhuvi started the innings with a first-over wicket of wicketkeeper opener Wriddhiman Saha. Although, Kumar was then attacked by Gill and Sudharshan as he gave away 20 runs in his first two overs in the power play.
The right-arm pacer then returned in the 15th over and took the essential wicket of Titans captain Hardik Pandya. His over stopped the run flow as his partner T Natarajan took the wicket of dangerous David Miller and provided their side some reprieve.
Bhuvi then came in to bowl the last over of the innings and claimed centurion Shubman Gill and last match hero Rashid Khan on two consecutive balls. His fifth and final wicket was Mohammed Shami, who was deceived by a leg-cutter and skied the ball to long-on, where Marco Jansen took an easy catch.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar on his special bowling performance
“When we were 16 down, we thought if we keep them close to 200 it would be good, but restricting them to 189 was great. Till 19th over, the wicket looked good to me (laughs). When it came to the second over, it did not swing much. When I came back for the last 2 overs, I tried to use the dimensions. We were thinking to stop them close to 200. Batting unit will be confident to chase this down, especially after chasing more than 200 against Rajasthan. With those big hitters, you have to use those bigger boundaries. You have to back yourself. The moment Shubman got out, we knew they were 10 runs short”, Bhuvi said in the post-match interview.
