India cricketer Shafali Verma excelled in her Class 12 CBSE board examination. She also shared her grade report on social media, expressing her delight. On Friday, the CBSE released the Class 10, 12 results 2023. “Another very special 80+ smash in 2023, but this time in 12th boards! Notably, the Haryana-born cricketer made her international debut in 2019 and has since represented India in 79 matches. Earlier this year, Shafali became the first captain to win the first Women’s U19 T20 World Cup, and she also assisted her franchise Delhi Capitals in reaching the finals of the Women’s Premier League.
Shafali made her international debut against South Africa when she was only 15 years old. She was always regarded as one of the Indian team’s future stars, and so far, the cricketer has lived up to her potential. In the shortest version of the game, she has 1333 runs at a strike rate of 132.11 and 531 runs in 21 ODI matches.
In the longest version of the game, Shafali made her Test debut against England in 2021 and has since played two matches, accumulating 242 runs at an average of 62.05. In the meanwhile, the opener hammered 252 runs in nine matches in the WPL, finishing as the second-highest run-scorer for Delhi Capitals.
