CM Punk and Samoa Joe last faced each other inside the ring at Ring of Honor in 2005. However, it is to be noted that The Samoan Submission Machine has never lost a single match against CM Punk. But, it might change if the two stars face each other again. Meanwhile, it is yet to be known whether the match is happening.
Sean Ross Sapp wrote, “We can’t confirm whether the pitch/suggestion was for a one-off match or an extended program. Also, we have no confirmation on whether or not the match is happening, as AEW sources won’t discuss anything related to Collision in general, much less the matches planned.”
However, previously Samoa Joe mentioned that he would be interested in reliving his rivalry with Punk.
