One of the most dangerous grapplers in the UFC’s light-heavyweight division was highly regarded as Glover Teixeira. The Brazilian had seven victories in the octagon and ten submission victories on his record until he retired earlier this year.

MMA Mania today tweeted that “Glover Teixeira vs Antony Smith has been booked for UFC Fight Pass invitational 4 on June 29”.

Kelvin Gastelum wrote on his Twitter account,” I thought Glover called it a career after his last fight?”

After which he mentions a tweet made by the MMA Mania.

But Teixeira is more than simply a skilled grappler in the MMA world. He also has a second-degree black belt under Luigi Mondelli in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, which is a highly respected discipline.

His overall record in submission matches is 7-3-1. At the Quintet UItra competition in December 2019, he last competed on the grappling mat, going to a draw with renowned grappler and former UFC welterweight championship challenger Jake Shields.
