The leg spinner overtook former Chennai Super King’s all-rounder Dwayne Bravo in the list. Chahal shattered Bravo’s record during the 56th match of the elite tournament against Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens. Chahal had earlier bagged a four-wicket haul against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) to equal Bravo’s record at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. KKR skipper Nitish Rana was Chahal’s 184th wicket after being caught by Shimron Hetmyer at deep-backward square.
