Booker T on Drew McIntyre not being in the race for first World Heavyweight Champion.
Drew McIntyre’s exclusion from the competition to determine the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion has Booker T suspicious. “I guess it indicates a lot of things with him not being in this tournament, right?” On “The Hall of Fame” podcast, Booker posed the question.
Booker exclaimed, “This is about guys having the ability to make money. I’m not aiming for the wrestling monopoly. If a man doesn’t want to stay, I’m not interested in keeping him.”

Booker T approves McIntyre’s plans to leave WWE
According to Booker T, Drew McIntyre has recently held the WWE Championship throughout the pandemic, making him a more valuable free agent than he was when competing on the indie circuit. Drew McIntyre is a man who has worked for WWE twice, so he is familiar with the business, Booker T remarked. “If a man wants to leave, let him leave.” Although Booker T is unaware of McIntyre’s ambitions, he can understand why “The Scottish Warrior” would get bored in WWE since people occasionally need a change of scenery after so much time in the system.
The former Impact and EVOLVE Champion wouldn’t have any problems, according to the WWE Hall of Famer, especially considering how few alternatives McIntyre had after his initial release in 2014 because he returned to WWE before the start of AEW.
He’ll be a star in any firm in the world,” Booker said. He is capable of earning money everywhere he goes.
When was the last Drew McIntyre WWE match?
At WrestleMania 39, Drew McIntyre competed for the WWE Intercontinental Championship in a triple-threat match against Gunther and Sheamus. Gunther successfully defended the Intercontinental title in the fiercely heated match in front of a packed house at the SoFi stadium in Los Angeles.
