To note, Kishan has been in red-hot form in the competition as he recently stroked a match-winning fifty against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Kishan was also looking threatening with the bat tonight as well but ace spinner Wanindu Hasaranga got the better of him as the wicketkeeper-batter departed just eight runs short of the 50.
Earlier in the match, RCB posted a competitive total of 199 runs in their allotted 20 overs. For RCB, skipper Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell stroked excellent fifties with the bat as they took the game away from MI bowlers. In the end, senior batter Dinesh Karthik also played an excellent cameo of 30 runs. However, RCB senior batter Virat Kohli failed to get going as he was scalped by Australian pacer Jason Behrendorff.
