Sony Pictures India dropped the first teaser for the same, wherein Gill was unveiled to give voice-over in Hindi and Punjabi versions to one of the most famous characters in the action movies. For the uninitiated, as promised by the American filmmaking duo, Phillip Lord and Christopher Miller in December last year, the Indian version of Spider-Man is set to give the audience a unique experience.
The Indian version of Spider-man is Mumbai based and is brown in color. Netzines loved the idea of Indian Spider-man brown in color as they found it very relatable. Mumbatten is not just a cameo but more than just that.

With this mega announcement, Gill became the first sportsperson to lend a voice to one of the most popular Hollywood franchises. The Gujarat Titans opener has dubbed voice for Spider-Man in Hindi and Punjabi versions.
Spiderman: Across the Spider-verse is a sequel to 2018’s hit movie ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and will release on June 2, 2023, in 10 languages. In the teaser, Gill repeated the character’s iconic lines and gave the audience goosebumps.
“Let’s go, guys! Whether you’re a cricketer or a superhero, with great power comes great responsibility,” Gill says, as the iconic Spiderman theme plays in the background.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse part 2, also announced the threequel in the popular Spider-Verse series. The part 3 of the movie will release on March 29, 2024. It is still not known whether Gill will give voice-over for the third part of the Spider-Verse series.
