CSK vs MI, IPL 2023: The Chennai Super Kings team took a break from practice and engaged in some recreational pursuits ahead of their match against the Mumbai Indians on Saturday at their den in Chepauk. In between their busy commitments, MS Dhoni & Co relaxed a little at their hotel in Chennai. MS Dhoni and veteran batter Ambati Rayudu battled in an exciting table tennis match. The batter handed Shivam Dube’s paddle after a few rallies of back-and-forth play. A game of foosball was being played by young Indian pacer Rajvardhan Hangargekar and his mates. Akash Singh, Tushar Deshpande, and Ravindra Jadeja were spotted having fun playing mini-golf together.
The four-time champions, who had a disappointing IPL 2022 season before regaining their form this year, had lost some of their momentum going into the key match against rival Mumbai Indians. Two of their previous three games have ended in defeat for MS Dhoni’s team, with their most recent match against the Lucknow Super Giants being abandoned owing to inclement weather.
Mumbai Indians, their impending rivals, have developed a great head of steam with two straight run chases over 200 runs. Despite Rohit Sharma’s sluggish batting performance, the Mumbai-based team has enough of runs and will be a serious threat to Chennai’s inexperienced bowling attack, especially the pacers.
