For the uninitiated, Gambhir and Kohli were at loggerheads after the latter had heated argument with LSG player Naveen ul Haq. Gambhir could have avoided the situation by remaining calm and ignoring Kohli, but instead, the LSG mentor vented his frustration to Kohli by fighting during the post-match presentation. The situation could have turned ugly, if not for the rest of LSG and RCB players separating the duo.
GT vs LSG: KL Rahul less LSG take on Hardik Pandya-led GT in Ahmedabad, LSG hope to make a grand comeback
LSG have slightly lost momentum after their 18-run loss to RCB. Their next match against CSK was washed out due to rain. LSG will also be without regular skipper KL Rahul, who is ruled out due to a hamstring injury. Krunal Pandya will up against his brother Hardik in Ahmedabad. GT are the current table toppers with 12 points. The Hardik Pandya-led side have won six games and have lost just three games in the nine games played so far.
GT also managed to beat LSG at Ekana Stadium in their previous encounter. That time the Hardik-led side defended a low total and prevailed by just seven runs.
