What did Triple H say about the Increased viewership of WWE Shows?
When asked to reveal the secret behind the increased viewership of the company’s shows, The Game praised everyone on his team. It stated that they are currently focusing on character development.
He said, “Regarding what we’re focused on, we’re focused on character development. You see that across storylines where our fans are super engaged in the talent…It has our fans invested and excited in the content like they haven’t been in a long time.”
He continued, “For us, extending the planning of the event horizon. Looking out year over year, where we want to be next year, and then backtracking from there so that we’re always ahead of the curve and always thinking ahead. That allows us to have better planning, and then it’s just trying new things, getting outside of the box of what we do, and seeing what works and what doesn’t. I don’t consider something not working a failure, I consider it to be learning. Excited about the future and where we can take all of this.”
During this, Triple H also cited an example to show how the company is focusing on Character development and how the storylines and character development within the company have reached new heights in recent months.
“Let’s take Sami Zayn and the Bloodline over the last couple of years, but especially in the last six to eight months, where that story and the character development has reached a whole new level.” Said The Game.
Recently the biggest event of the year took place. The attendance for WrestleMania 39 was recorded as over 161,000, while the two-night show grabbed over 500 million views. Also, Raw, after WrestleMania, averaged 2.26 million views. With that, the next Pay-per-view event, WWE Backlash 2023, is around the corner. Let’s see what happens at the upcoming PLE event.
