DC vs RCB: Kedar Jadhav 2.0 hungry enough to make an impact for RCB in IPL 2023 season, says, “Never felt so better”
Jadhav last featured in IPL in the 2021 season for SRH, the diminutive batter could not make much impact for the Sunrisers as he scored only 55 runs from six games. However, since then, the Maharashtra batter has been in scintillating form in domestic cricket, averaging 92.5 in the recent Ranji season. Jadhav says the break in cricket for one year helped him rediscover form and spark.
“I took a break for a year, but then I realized that I was missing my passion. When I came back and played first-class cricket I found it very easy, to be honest. All the experience helped me the hunger was there, which was in my early 20s. The hunger to score big runs, and that’s when I felt I can now come back and play again at all the levels and when I’ve prepared for it, I’ve always performed well.” Jadhav said.
He’s back and raring to go! 💪
Averaged 92.5 in the recent Ranji Trophy season, he’s been practicing, he’s fit to play and ready to contribute when opportunity knocks his door. Welcome back, Kedar Jadhav! 👊#PlayBold #ನಮ್ಮRCB #IPL2023 @JadhavKedar pic.twitter.com/SBiJ6zxDMq

DC vs RCB: Jadhav boost for RCB as they aim to keep the winning momentum going against DC
Jadhav’s addition to the RCB squad is a massive boost in the middle order. The Faf du Plessis-led side have failed to get going in the middle order after the fall of Kohli and Maxwell and Du Plessis. With Jadhav in the mix, RCB can slot him at number three or five and help lessen the burden on RCB’s big trio. So far, RCB have tried six batters at number three position in IPL 2023 season, and none have cemented the place.
RCB would be hoping Jadhav 2.0 helps solve the number three puzzle. RCB will take on DC on Saturday (May 6). The Du Plessis-led side are currently fifth on the points table with 10 points from nine games.
