In a recent media release, Chatri said, “After careful reflection, we decided not to submit our final offer. Francis [Ngannou] is a good guy and a good champion. I wish him continued success and happiness.”
“At the end of the day, I didn’t feel Francis, and I were fully aligned on non-financial matters. It is nothing personal. It is just a lack of alignment.”

Meanwhile, Dana White had also mentioned a few weeks back that he would never bring Francis Ngannou back to the UFC. Per White, it’s hard to negotiate with Ngannou, which appears now to be true after ONE Championship also failed to deal with ‘The Predator’.
