To note, Brook went for INR 13.25 crore at the auction. Sunrisers Hyderabad, who went in with the biggest purse, were fairly happy with their purchase. They have a history of underwhelming middle orders. However, the right-handed batter has not lived up to his expectations. Brook played a brilliant knock against Kolkata Knight Riders earlier in the season as he went on to stroke his maiden century. Since then, he has failed to get going with the bat.
Earlier in the match, DC won the toss and opted to have a bowl first. Aussie All-rounder Mitchell Marsh bowled a brilliant spell as he scalped four crucial wickets with the ball. For SRH, Abhishek Sharma played an excellent knock of 67 runs in 36 balls. Heinrich Klaasen also stroked a fifty.
