Recently, Netflix announced the official docuseries for former UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor and Boxing Legend Tyson Fury. Two of the biggest fighters in their respective sports are to take over a huge leap on Netflix next month. As Netflix continues to lose subscribers daily, the company has headed to new approaches bringing sports docuseries and other inspired sports shows onto the platform.
Conor McGregor and Tyson Fury Set to Boost NetflixConor McGregor’s “McGregor Forever” will be released next month on May 17. This series will feature Mcgregor’s journey to fame in the UFC and Netflix promises several unseen behind-the-scenes to be included. Also, a series featuring a look into boxing champion Tyson Fury’s daily life will be released on Netflix. However, a date is yet to be finalized.
As per reports, Netflix’s new business idea to bring sports docuseries onto the platform is expected to bring new subscribers as well as to retain current audiences.
2. Kamaru Usman Gets Candid With Mike Tyson in Hotboxin
Former UFC Welterweight champion Kamura Usman gets frank to Boxing Legend Mike Tyson after UFC 286 loss. At UFC 286, Kamura Usman was unsuccessful in recapturing his UFC title after a loss to Lean Edwards. During his recent conversation with Mike Tyson, he mentioned how it feels after his second loss against Edwards.
The Nigerian Nightmare detailed that many people were upset about his loss more than him. Following his UFC 286 loss, many people texted him and supported him with comeback messages and he appreciated that he is the best UFC welter fighter. Moreover, he added he is actively enjoying his training after his loss and he fell in love with the whole process.
3. Henry Cejudo Reveals His Gameplan for Beating Aljamain Sterling in UFC 288
Henry Cejudo will be making UFC return next week at UFC 288 against Aljamain Sterling. The former UFC bantamweight champion is ready to reclaim the title that he never lost. Recently, Henry Cejudo talked to ESPN MMA where he revealed his game plan for defeating Aljamin Sterling. He put forth that his “superior” IQ will help him to overcome this hurdle and he is extremely serious about his game plan.
Triple C said, “I do take game planning extremely serious, you know to the point where everybody that I’m fighting with is at his height everybody that he’s partnered with is a whole lot taller than me you see what I’m saying so little-little things like that I see, I’m just like yeah he’s planning for the wrong dude you know.”
4. Where to Watch UFC Fight Night 223- Song vs Simon
Yadong Song vs Ricky Simon will be facing each other in the main event of UFC Fight Night 223. Both fighters will be heading into the fight to level up their bantamweight ranks. UFC Fight Night 223 will be live all the way from UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
