BCCI Annual Contracts: The Indian Cricket Board announced retained contracts for Women’s cricketers on Thursday. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur, vice-captain Smriti Mandhana and Deepti Sharma have been named in Grade A category. BCCI had last announced the player contracts during the 2021/22 season. While the Indian Cricket Board did equal the match fee for both Men’s and Women’s Cricket, there remains a substantial gap in the retainers deal. As per the last retainer, Category A (Rs 50 lakh), Category B (Rs 30 lakh) and Category C (Rs 10 lakh).
