Talking about it Shuki stated this is the only one in the world cap that he designed for the legend Mayweather which he made of invisible diamonds. When pressed about the making of it he stated, “First you gotta do the mold, after the mold you put the gold and melt it then you gotta work and shave (sandblast) it and shine it. It’s a big process. But when you put the setting of the Diamond, that’s the most difficult part of it.”
Shuki Diamonds spared no expense in creating the lavish diamond-studded cap for Mayweather, which reportedly set him back a cool $1 million. The cap was a labor of love, taking over a month to handcraft and requiring an exhaustive search for the perfect “invisible diamonds” that would satisfy Shuki’s discerning eye.
