Becky Lynch, Trish Stratus Rivalry
Trish Stratus made her return to WWE on February 27, 2023, where she helped Becky Lynch and Lita in their match against Damage CTRL. At the end of the match, Lita and Lynch became the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
Later at WrestleMania 39, Becky Lynch, Lita, and Trish Stratus defeated Damage CTRL in a six-Women Tag Team Match. However, on April 10, 2023, Becky Lynch and Lita were set to defend their title against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez but Lita was attacked backstage prior to the match.
Hence, Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch joined forces for the match against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. However, the latter two defeated the team of Stratus and Lynch. Following the match, Trish attacked Becky. Last week on WWE Raw, Trish Stratus explained her actions and also mentioned that she was the one who attacked Lita backstage.
Now, Becky Lynch is currently out of action owing to a foot injury but their rivalry has now spilled over to social media, with The Man unfollowing her nemesis. Thus, it is to be seen what happens when the two would face each other inside the ring.
With WWE Backlash 2023 around the corner, a match between Lynch and Stratus might get announced for the upcoming pay-per-view event. However, if that doesn’t happen then the two might collide at WWE SummerSlam 2023, which is scheduled to take place on August 5, 2023.
