KKR Playing 11: Permutations and Combinations
Shardul Thakur is prepared to start against Royal Challengers Bangalore after being benched against CSK. Thakur might take the place of Kulwant Khejroliya, who struggled on his franchise debut for KKR in the pacer-friendly conditions.
The addition of the India all-rounder expands Nitish Rana’s bowling options and adds significantly more batting depth.
Lockie Ferguson and Tim Southee are still without spot in playing 11 even after Thakur’s comeback. Since KKR is experimenting with a two-overseas opening combo, its bowling must be entirely Indian. On his KKR debut, Jason Roy made an impression, and head coach Chandrakant Pandit is hoping that Litton Das or Dawid Wiese may soon do the same.
Since Jason Roy suffered am injury scare in the last match, it is most likely Litton Das who will fill his spot.
