Tasked to chase 136 against Gujarat Titans, Rahul yet again began his knock with a maiden over. But he soon took the bowlers to the task to went on the frontfoot. Hitting the bowlers all through the park, Rahul trodded forward to slam a stunning fifty off just 38 deliveries. It was 33rd fifty in T20s.
However, the biggest highlight of the day was when KL Rahul reached 14 runs. He went on to complete 7000 runs in the shortest format of the game. He also became the fastest Indian to achieve this feat. Overall, he is the third fastest player in the world to reach this milestone. Only Babar Azam and Chris Gayle reached 7000 run mark faster than him.
