IPL 2023: After losing to Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore rebounded to defeat Punjab Kings in IPL 2023 Match 27 at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali. With Virat Kohli on the helm, RCB star Glenn Maxwell enjoyed a great time on the field vs PBKS. And it was evident with the video that got viral on Thursday as he was spotted playing ‘rock, paper, scissors’ with Kohli.
RCB reached a respectable 174/4 thanks to composed half-centuries from Virat Kohli (59 off 47) and Faf du Plessis (84 off 56). RCB overcame a late fight from Jitesh Sharma (41 off 27) to bowl PBKS out for 150 and win the game by 24 runs thanks to Mohammed Siraj’s career-best IPL stats (4/24) and a superb run-out.

Glenn Maxwell trolls Virat Kohli
Maxwell and Kohli opted to pass the time during one of the reviews in the second innings (taken by Punjab Kings batsman Jitesh Sharma) by playing a game of rock, paper, scissors. However, they were only able to play one round, which the Australian all-rounder won. The same video circulated on social media and was seen by Maxwell as well.

As a result, Maxwell reacted by mockingly calling Kohli “Poor predictable Virat, always goes paper” while cracking up.

Faf du Plessis was not able to field due to a rib ailment, therefore Virat Kohli was leading the RCB. Suyash Prabhudessai replaced Vyshak in their starting eleven, the only alteration made.
RCB designated David Willey, Akash Deep, Karn Sharma, Vijaykumar Vyshak, and Anuj Rawat as their substitutes.
While RCB recorded its third victory, the Punjab Kings, who are concerned about the fitness of their captain Shikhar Dhawan, suffered their third defeat.
