“We had a good game against KKR batting first, so hopefully we can take a leaf out of that. I think we need to get the whole game good together, one skill is good and the other not as much, so we are working on it. If one of them is having a good night, they have to make it big. Hectic schedules but we are not complaining, the IPL allows us the chance to travel around and meet different fan bases,” Aiden Markram said at the toss.

SRH bowling attack looked below-average against Mumbai as they went on to leak 192 runs in 20 overs. Senior pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar was good with both new ball and death overs. Overseas pacer, Marco Jansen also scalped two wickets but gave away 43 runs in his four overs. The spin duo of Sundar and Markande have away just 68 runs in their combined 8 overs but went wicketless. But it’s Natarajan who went for 50 runs for a wicket.

With the Chennai track suiting the spinners, the Orange Army might persist with both spinners. However, SRH is likely to bring in their express pacer Umran Malik with T Natarajan sitting out.

In the batting department, SRH camp might be relieved a bit as their opener Mayank Agarwal finally managed to get some runs under the belt. The right-handed batter stroked 48 runs in his previous outing and will be looking to make the most of field restrictions against CSK. Given rare failures from Brook and Tripathi, the duo is expected to continue their role with the bat. The middle-order responsibility rests on the shoulders of Aiden Markram, Heinrich Klaasen and Abhishek Sharma.

Sunrisers Hyderabad Squad: Harry Brook, Mayank Agarwal, Rahul Tripathi, Aiden Markram(c), Abhishek Sharma, Heinrich Klaasen(w), Marco Jansen, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mayank Markande, Umran Malik, T Natarajan, Washington Sundar, Abdul Samad, Mayank Dagar, Vivrant Sharma, Glenn Phillips, Upendra Yadav, Anmolpreet Singh, Adil Rashid, Akeal Hosein, Samarth Vyas, Kartik Tyagi, Sanvir Singh, Fazalhaq Farooqi, Nitish Reddy
