Ryan Garcia Height: UFC News: Ryan Garcia is 12cm taller than Gervonta Davis. The most explosive fighters in the lighter weight classes, Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis will eventually square off on April 22, 2023, in a 136-pound catchweight fight. Follow UFC News Updates with InsideSport.IN.

Both competitors enter the fight with spotless records. Davis, aka “Tank,” is 28-0 with 26 knockout victories. With 19 knockouts, “KingRy” Garcia has a 23-0 record.

Davis may just be five feet five, but he has plenty of punch. His fluid mobility enables him to quickly switch angles and choose the optimal area to deliver his devastating blows, which are among the greatest in the lighter categories.

Davis’ tendency to become more motionless as the battle goes on could get him into problems. He must keep moving to get inside without becoming an easy target for a parry because he is up against the longer and taller Garcia.

Garcia possesses some of the world’s quickest hands. He uses his superior quickness to dismantle his opponents fast, if not to put them to sleep right away. Despite being an orthodox fighter, his vicious left hook is his most lethal strike.

Davis was surpassed by “KingRy” who turned pro at the age of 17. In 2016, he fought Edgar Meza, who he promptly defeated in 94 seconds by TKO. He won the WBC interim lightweight title in 2021, although he does not presently have any world championships.

Garcia is the +205 underdog in the fight, with Davis as the -280 moneyline favourite. Accordingly, Davis has a 73.68% implied chance of winning while Garcia has a 26.32% chance of doing so.

Garcia has stayed away from the ring for a lot longer. On July 16, 2022, he faced Javier Fortuna, and on that day, he knocked out Fortuna in the sixth round to win. A three-punch combination with a left hand to the temple as the final blow proved to be the winning blow.

Recently, Garcia alleged that a rehydration clause in his contract with Davis forbade him from eating or drinking for three days of the week “for [Davis’] comfortability.”Although athletes are accustomed to going to great lengths to lose weight, if the clause is valid, Garcia’s strength and stamina may be diminished on fight night.
