RR vs RCB Head-to-Head: Fighting to stay alive in the competition, the Royal Challengers Bangalore will travel to Jaipur to take on Rajasthan Royals on Sunday, May 14th. RR vs RCB Head-To-Head: The past record in numbers
The rivalry between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals has witnessed some of the biggest nail-biters in the IPL. Bangalore and Rajasthan have played a total of 29 matches against each other. The competition has been tough. RCB has won 14 and RR has managed 12 wins. The other three matches ended without a result.
The first match between RCB and RR was played during the 2008 IPL, in which Rajasthan defeated RCB by 7 wickets in Bengaluru. Bangalore won five back-to-back matches against Rajasthan between 2020 and 2022. An interesting fact about this rivalry is the number of abandoned matches. This rivalry has had three matches without a result, which is comparatively more than other IPL rivalries.
The first IPL 2023 match between RCB and RR was played on Sunday, April 23 in Bengaluru. It will be the second clash of the season between the two batting powerhouses. Losing is not an option for both the teams, but only one team will walk out with two points against its name. Who will that be?
