KKR vs RR Head-To-Head

KKR was the winner of IPL 2012 and IPL 2014. On the other hand, RR won IPL 2008. Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals have played a total of 27 matches against each other. Kolkata have 14 wins in 27 matches while Royals have managed 12 wins and one match was called off due to rain.

The first match between the two teams was played in 2008 in which RR defeated KKY by a margin 0f 45 runs in Jaipur. Sawpnil Asnodkar scored 60 runs off 34 balls. Till 2018, RR was leading the records winning nine out of 15 matches. KKR started dominating after that winning eight out of 13 matches.

IPL 2022 saw the last match between KKR and RR, in which Kolkata won by seven wickets. Nitish Rana played a crucial knock scoring 48* off 37 balls. The 28th match between these two teams will be played on Thursday which will be the only match between the two franchises. While Rajasthan Royals will look to reduce the gap between the two, Kolkata Knight Riders will look to further extend the gap.
