Now a two-division champion, Jon Jones, wants to outclass Miocic in a fight that shall thrill the entire MMA world. ‘Bones’ revealed his plans on social media, sending several fans into a frenzy.

Having conquered the light heavyweight division as its greatest champion, Jones’ heavyweight debut happened at a very crucial point. After Francis Ngannou’s exit from the UFC, the heavyweight division was missing massive star power.
Jon Jones filled that void brilliantly. Jones is a veteran of the sport who has been in action since he was 20 years old. Aged 35, he doesn’t seem to have a lot of years left. That said, Jon Jones looked extremely brilliant in his heavyweight debut.
He submitted Ciryl Gane in under three minutes and earned an easy night at work. ’Bones’ Jones is now the champion and number one ranked P4P fighter in the promotion. While Miocic is ranked two in the heavyweight division, he is considered the greatest in that weight category.

20-4 as a professional, Stipe Miocic has 6 wins in 8 UFC heavyweight title fights so far. After defeating Daniel Cormier, Miocic cemented his position as a heavyweight G.O.A.T. However, he fell prey to Francis Ngannou’s vicious KO at UFC 260, who Miocic and beaten previously at UFC 220.
Miocic is undoubtedly one of the most prolific fighters of all time. But he has been out of action for more than two years now. At the age of 40, beating the two-year-hiatus to face a legend like Jon Jones can be a challenging task for former champion Stipe Miocic.
