On Saturday, the German winger was seen warming up with a visibly swollen lip ahead of Bayern’s clash with Hoffenheim, with the effects of the alleged punch still visible. Despite the incident, Sane is reportedly looking forward to playing with Mane and leading Bayern Munich to the Bundesliga title.
Reports have claimed that the feud between both the players started in the 83rd minute as Sane attempted to play the ball to Mane’s feet. The mix-up of communication led to City easily regaining possession as they led 3-0.
Sane was seen jumping up in frustration as the home side attacked yet again.

Meanwhile, Thomas Tuchel opened up on the alleged incident and said that Mane has fully accepted the consequences and ‘the case is now closed’.
“I am the first one to defend Sadio. I have known him for a long time and I know him as a top pro,” Tuchel said in a press conference.
“He is football pure. He has my deepest trust after the mistake he made.” “Everyone can make a mistake. It went against the team’s code of conduct. That’s clear”, the Bayern coach further added.
