According to new reports, some sources have claimed that Mane is missing his former club Liverpool and wants to join them in the summer. It comes with no surprise to Liverpool fans as the Senegalese international has been struggling recently.
Mane featured for Liverpool in 6 seasons. He scored 120 goals in 269 appearances and won 6 trophies with the team and reach 2 UCL finals. Not to forget his role in the front for Liverpool which formed the famous trio of Mane-Firmino-Salah. The 31-year-old left Liverpool last summer and signed a 3-year contract with Bayern Munich.
Mane has scored 6 goals and 4 assists in 20 Bundesliga appearances till now for Bayern. He has also scored 3 times in 6 UCL appearances. Despite producing such numbers, sources claim Mane is not really happy at Bayern and wants to return to Anfield.

Since Mane’s departure, Liverpool have signed Coady Gakpo and Darwin Nunez and their attack doesn’t seems to a problem right now. Liverpool are struggling this season but their focus is to rebuild the midfield first. It is highly unlikely that Liverpool will pay something to Bayern for Mane, as they are eyeing to submit big bids for players like Jude Bellingham and Aurélien Tchouaméni. And Bayern won’t let him go for free as there are 2 more years left in his contract.
