How Rabada Claimed his 100th Victim –
It took the South African pacer a special delivery to reach the landmark. Wriddhiman Saha began GT’s run chase on the front foot from the very beginning. The wicketkeeper looked in sublime touch and control after slamming 30 runs off just 19 deliveries. He hammed Arshdeep Singh all over the park, thereby adding 5 fours into his account.
The fall of the wicket took place in the fifth over. A short of length delivery pushed Saha to go for the maximum in the longest boundary of the ground. From the moment the ball left the bat it looked destined to cross the ropes. But the ball failed to get the required distance as Matthew Short took a cool catch on the boundary ropes to get the prized dismissal.
