To note, RCB had to suffer a terrible loss at the hands of Lucknow Super Giants in their previous clash. Defending 200+ score in their home ground, RCB bowlers except Mohammad Siraj failed to put any pressure on LSG batters. As a result, the visitors won that match on the last ball with Marcus Stoinis and Nicholas Pooran playing crucial roles for their team.
With Hasaranga returning to the fold, RCB bowling department will get a huge boost where they can expect the Sri Lankan spinner to take some crucial wickets in the middle overs. Apart from his bowling, Hasaranga in more than a handy batter and can play big strokes if needed.
The Challengers from Bangalore have played three games so far. While they managed to defeat Mumbai Indians in their opening encounter quite convincingly, they had to suffer defeats in next two games against KKR and LSG. The Red Army will be eying to make a comeback against Delhi Capitals who are yet to register a win in the tournament.
