Virat Kohli Cars: It a non-brainer that Virat Kohli loves cars. Apart from Porsche, the former Indian skipper owns various models of Audi, BMW, Range Rover, and Bentley, among others. Virat Kohli Cars: ‘Jab chalti hai na toh log hatt jaate hain’ Kohli reveals Hilarious Story behind his First Car purchase, Check Out
Speaking to Jatin Sapru on Star Sports, a video of which was uploaded by the broadcaster’s official YouTube channel, Virat said, “Pehli gaadi jo maine li thi khud se vo thi Safari. Safari us time par bhai sahab, aisi gaadi hoti thi ki road par chalegi toh jo saamne se aa rahe hai, vo apne aap he side ho jayenge. Ye motivation this Safari lene ki. Ye nahi tha ki gaadi achi chalti hai, yaa space hai. Jab chalti hai naa toh log hutt jaate hai.
(The first car that I bought with my own money was Safari. At that time, Safari used to be the car upon seeing which people used to clear the road on their own. That was the motivation behind buying the Safari, not how it runs or whether it has enough space or not.)
It must be noted that Kohli is currently brand ambassador of Audi and can be often seen travelling in one of the brand’s luxury SUVs, however that wasn’t always the case for the cricketing star and he expressed that in the interview. “Abhi contract ho gya hai sir, pehle toh koi poochta nhi tha”, Kohli told Sapru.
