While Erling Haaland and Robert Lewandowski have created a large goal difference from others, Victor Osimhen, Kylian Mbappe, and Niclas Fullkrug still have some work cut out for them. Premier League
Erling Haaland has been a force to reckon with before he joined Premier League’s reigning champions. He scored a total of 29 goals and provided 8 assists last season with Borussia Dortmund throughout all competitions. As he joined Manchester City at the start of this season, he found much more competition, yet he has already found the back of the net more times than last season.
He has scored 36 goals for Manchester City only in Premier League with still 3 games left for the club. He has scored 16 more goals for Man City across all other competitions. The second top scorer in the league is Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane who is trailing by 8 goals. Kane has scored 28 goals till now with one game left for Spurs. The chances of him catching up to Haaland is nearly zero now and Haaland could be on the way to win the Golden Boot on his first season in the Premier League.

La Liga
Before joining Barcelona at the beginning of this season, Robert Lewandowski won a total of 7 Bundesliga golden boots. He won 5 consecutive Bundesliga golden boots till last season with Bayern Munich. Now, after joining Barcelona, he has scored 22 goals till now with still 3 games left to play for Barcelona.
However, the Pichichi race is still on for the Polish striker as Karim Benzema is not very far from catching up. Benzema scored 2 hat-tricks in 2 games a few days ago and brought his goal tally to 17. Benzema is also La Liga’s top scorer last season and he is in incredible form right now. Hence, as of now, it is still anyone’s game.

SV Werder Bremen were promoted to the German first-division competition only this season and their star striker is shining for them the same way he did in the second division last season. He has scored 16 goals till now with still one match left to play.
However, with the same number of games left to play, the other 4 players from the top 5 scorers from the league are not far behind. Randal Kolo Muani has caught everyone’s attention with his performance. He is also only 2 goals behind the top spot. In fact, 3rd, 4th, and 5th-placed Vincenzo Grifo, Serge Gnabry and Christopher Nkunku are all tied to Kolo Muani with the same number of goals.

This season doesn’t seem to be any different as he is yet again leading the top scorer race with 26 goals to his name. He still has 3 more games left to play, so the goal number could still increase. However, he will still have some tough competition from the other 4 players from the top 5 scorers.
Alexandre Lacazette has been on Mbappe’s tail with the same number of goals. He has instantly found his foot in the race after coming back from Arsenal at the start of this season. He is only in the second place as he has played more games than Mbappe at this point. Third-positioned Jonathan David was not far behind, but now he’s trailing by 4 goals.

The 24-year-old Victor Osimhen has been a force to reckon with for Napoli this season. He has gone through some injury issues this season, so he has seen less game time, but even so, he has 23 goals to his name with still 3 games left to play. That is 3 more goals from the second-placed Lautaro Martinez.
The second-placed Lautaro has been giving a tough fight this season. He has scored 20 goals for Inter Milan till now this season with the same number of matches still left in the league. The rest of the players in the list have fallen far behind with 5-7 goals from the 2nd man in the race. With very few numbers of matches left now, there is a little chance to catch up with Osimhen and Martinez.
