Speaking about the dismissal, Narine was bowling to Saha in the field restrictions. The wicket-keeper batter tried to slog the spinner over the mid-wicket region. However, he just managed to lob the ball near the 30-yard circle where Jagadeesan remained calm as ever to take a good diving catch.
As mentioned above, KKR made two changes in its playing XI. While Jagadeesan was included in place of Mandeep Singh, Tim Southee made way for express pacer Lockie Ferguson. ”
We wanted to bat first as well because of the weather and conditions. I felt defending might be easier. We had in our minds that batting first would be the way to go so that our spinners can make use of the surface in the second half but it’s okay. We have two changes.
