The second match saw MI batters get decent starts but they failed to capitalize on those starts. Four batters made more than 20 runs but no one make full use of the good starts. With few hits in the end from Hrithik Shokeen and Tim David, they got to 157-8. Jason Behrendoff who replaced Jofra Archer picked a wicket in the first over. Cameron Green, Piysuh Chawla and Kumar Kartikeya bowled well but could only manage 2 wickets among them.
Going in to their match against Delhi Capitals, MI would hope their batters would bring the goods. Suryakumar Yadav who has been out of touch would hope to return to form. Jofra Archer may not be fit enough as he sat out in the last match and Jason Behrendorff took his position as their first choice bowler.
