Mumbai Indians will be hoping that their speedy pacer recovers in time for the next game. Though Rohit Sharma pacified the situation claiming that Archer was rested as a precautionary step, it adds added pressure to the team. With MI without a single win and missing key players, Archer’s injury record keeps MI worries about the situation.
Archer joined the Mumbai Indians squad back in the IPL 2022 Mega Auction when he was bought for a whopping price of 8 crores. However, he missed last season’s IPL with an injury. In the previous game, he made his debut for MI where remained wicketless after conceding 33 runs in his stipulated 4-overs spell.
