GT vs RR Head-To-Head: The past record in numbers
Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals are considered to have the best squads this season. Royals’s strength is their top order while Gujarat rely mostly on their lower order batters. Gujarat Titans have played three matches against Rajasthan Royals in IPL. The Royals are yet to win their first match against the Titans. All of the three matches were played during IPL 2022.
The first match between GT and RR was played at the DY Patil Sports Complex in Mumbai. The Titans batted first and scored 192 runs in the first innings with the help of a classy 87* runs off 52 balls from the bat of Hardik Pandya. The Royals managed to score 155 in the second innings and got defeated by 37 runs.
The last match between these two teams was the final of IPL 2022. Rajasthan batted first and set a target of 131 runs for Gujarat. RR bowled well but GT eventually sealed the game in the 19th over featuring a match-winning knock of 45 runs off 43 balls from Shubman Gill.
Rajasthan will eye revenge of last year’s final while Gujarat will look to continue their winning streak at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
