To note, KL Rahul (3917) requires 83 runs to complete 4000 runs in IPL. Before Rahul, a total of 13 players have already crossed the landmark in IPL but Rahul has the chance to top them all if he manages to stroke 83 runs against the Orange Army in the next encounter. Currently, Chris Gayle tops the list 4,000 runs in just 112 innings. He is followed by the likes of David Warner, Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir among others.
The Lucknow Super Giants kickstarted their IPL 2023 campaign with a win against Delhi Capitals. However, they suffered a defeat against Chennai Super Kings.
