Used as an impact player, the youngster came on to replace Yuzvendra Chahal. Jurel came to bat at number 8 and formed a strong and formidable partnership with Shimron Hetmyer as RR looked poised to chase down the run target. All being said, very little is known about this youngster. Jurel is a wicket keeping batter who plays domestic cricket for Uttar Pradesh. The 22-year old cricketer made his T20 debut in domestic circuit when he made his debut in the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy for his home state. He was also named the vice-captain of the U19 Indian team for the ICC World Cup in 2020.
Dhruv Jurel joined Rajasthan Royals back in 2022 when he was bought in the IPL 2022 Mega Auction. Last year, the youngster also made his debut in the Ranji Trophy for Uttar Pradesh.
