In a video posted by the franchise, Left arm seamers Arshad Khan and Arjun Tendulkar alongside Cameron Green were seen toling in the nets. They underwent a special yorker drill to hone their death bowling skills under the watchful eye of bowling coach Shane Bond.
With a boot placed at the crease, the bowlers were asked to aim for the blockhole. All the bowlers were seen hitting the bulls eye sending the shoes flying and also rattling the stumps. Arshad Khan and Cameron Green will hope to replicate the same in the upcoming matches. Meanwhile Arjun Tendulkar and Sandeep Warrier will await for their chance in the playing XI.
Mumbai Indians suffered eight-wicket loss against Royal Challengers Bangalore in their opening match of the season. The MI bowlers were taken to cleaners by Faf Du Plessis and Virat Kohli in the match. Rohit Sharma now wants his bowlers to make a quick turnaround ahead of the upcoming match against Chennai Super Kings.
The five-time champions are set to play their first home match of the season on 8th April. In front of the fans at Mumbai, Rohit Sharma and his men aim to clinch their first victory of the season.
