Kai Havertz Transfer: Chelsea has already been going through some phases that indicate that they will have to let some players go in the next transfer window. In the midst of all these, Kai Havertz has hinted that he will not mind reconnecting with the former Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel at Bayern Munich. There is a chance that Chelsea could lose both Mason Mount and Kai Havertz to Bayern Munich soon enough. Follow Premier League LIVE Updates on InsideSport.IN.
Chelsea have been looking like they are regaining their form very recently. Coach Graham Potter previously said that the job became difficult for him owing to a bloated team with several talented players. Adding to that, Chelsea has recently released their financial record for the previous year which showed a huge loss of £121 million.
These do indicate that they will need to sell off some of their players. Additionally, Chelsea’s new management is adapting the new practice where they don’t want to let any player go as a free agent. This could mean that they will be more open to selling players now. In the midst of it all, similar to Mason Mount, Kai Havertz has shown interest in joining the former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel at Bayern Munich.
When asked about it, the German player said, “Bayern are generally a huge club that it’s hard to say no to as a German player, but my personal goal has always been to play abroad at some point. In England or Spain.” He came to Chelsea from Bayer Leverkusen in 2020 and has been having a good stint at Chelsea.
However, the allure of going back to his country and playing with a coach who has had a good relationship with him could be too much to deny. When asked about it he said, “I had a very good relationship with him and am very grateful for everything. You never know what will happen in football. Everything can happen very quickly. Never say never.”
Kai Havertz on difficulties on rejecting Bayern revealed in 2020: “Clearly — that would be still difficult!” 🔴

Mason Mount, on the other hand, has not been able to agree on a deal after discussions with Chelsea. He wants bigger pay and his current contract expires in 2024. Both Manchester City and Manchester United have shown interest in him. However, as per reports, Mount is also considering a move to Bayern Munich to reunite with their former boss.
It’s still unknown if Chelsea are even interested or considering selling Havertz or Mount. Losing any of the two players could cost them big time as both talented players have an impact on the team. However, considering their financial, technical, and managerial situation, if Bayern Munich presents good enough deals, they could let both Havertz and Mount go.
