Rishabh Pant to attend DC match:
Meanwhile, Delhi District Cricket Association (DDCA) has invited Rishabh Pant to attend some DC matches. The DC captain is recovering from knee surgery after a horrific car crash in December. While he is missing the IPL, DC and DDCA want the superstar to be in the mix. DDCA has also promised to arrange a special ramp so that he can easily sit in the dugout with players.
“We are ready to host Rishabh Pant at the ground if he feels okay and Delhi Capitals allows it. We will take care of everything for him, be it picking him up from home or dropping him back. We will also create a special ramp till the dugout for his access,” Shyam Sharma told ANI.

DC’s missing members
Delhi Capitals is led by David Warner in the absence of their regular captain Rishabh Pant who is still in recovery after his car crash accident. Pant’s absence has made the middle order less bankable and more vulnerable but Pant is not the only player DC is missing.
South African bowlers Anrich Nortje and Lungi Ngidi are set to the 1st match for their team as they are scheduled to play an ODI series against the Netherlands which ends on 2nd April. DC will also be missing tricky left-handed Bangladeshi bowler Mustafizur Rahman who is also committed to playing till the 8th of April against Ireland.
