According to Aston Martin team, the two vehicles’ major differences can be attributed to the wing heights that they chose to have. Red Bull was aggressive in releasing a lower downforce and drag specification for Saudi Arabia than the competition early in the race.

McCullough also stated that Aston Martin was encouraged by its early-season performance in the other grand prix. At the same time, it was also not taking a backseat in its efforts to reduce Red Bull’s current lead.
