Kaur had played in the league’s debut season with Manchester Originals, who finished fifth in the eight-team tournament with three victories from eight matches. The following season, Kaur bore the brunt of the blame as the team discharged her to fill an overseas position.

Kaur then missed the 2022 season of the event and will now aim to maximize the next season. The English all-rounders Nat Sciver-Brunt, Katherine Sciver-Brunt, and Bryony Smith, as well as the Australian all-rounder Alana King, were previously retained by the Trent Rockets women.
