Dhoni’s presence will surely motivate the Indian team ahead of the series decider. The Indian team has not lost a bilateral ODI series at home over the past four years and hence there is a lot to play for. Dhoni was there at Ranchi when the team was playing recently. He had met Ishan Kishan then.

The four-time IPL champions had a disappointing campaign in IPL 2022, finishing in ninth position in the ten-team table. The MS Dhoni-led side won four matches, lost 10 and bagged eight points in total. With the new season upcoming, Dhoni will be aiming to challenge for the title, in what could also be his last season.

He led CSK to the IPL 2021 title, defeating Kolkata Knight Riders by 27 runs in the final. Ahead of the new season, the franchise has been keeping fans updated about their team’s preparations and they seem to be working hard. With Ben Stokes, Moeen Ali and Ravindra Jadeja in his service, the fans might see Mahi magic for one more time and perhaps the last time in the Indian Premier League.
