They are saying that the accusations are just rumours as they have been in full compliance the export control of U.S. government.

The PBS Story is accusing Haas automation for sending in 18 machineries to Russia. In a statement, Haas mentioned About following all the US sanctions. They cleared about the 18 machineries being shipped to Russia before the sanctions came into force. However after the sanctions no machinery where shipped to any distributor in Russia.

Haas made it very clear that after March 3, 2022, no shipments were made to any part of Russia. In fact after terminating its relationship with the sole distributor in Russia, Haas cancelled 50 existing orders that were supposed to be shipped to them. “At the time Haas terminated its relationship with Abamet, Abamet had possession, title, and control over a number of machines and spare parts it had acquired from Haas prior to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine,” continued the statement.

They missed out on basic facts and put false allegations on the parent company. “At a time when Americans are struggling to develop the most effective course of conduct in support of Ukraine, it is irresponsible in the extreme for PBS to present this poorly-sourced hit piece ” said Haas.
